FALL 2026 CROSS COUNTRY (XC) SEASON INFO:
Registration is now open for the Fall 2026 XC Season. Please review all info here before registering, then use the RunSignUp link below to register.
We will send out our first newsletter/email 2 weeks before the start of the season to provide you with an update and direction about the beginning of the season.
Once the season starts, we will send out a weekly newsletter on Mon or Tues each week with details about that week of the season.
Fall XC Season is open to kids ages 8-14 (through 8th grade). We will begin our first week of practice on September 15, and the season will run though Nov 21 for those that qualify for nationals.

The 2026 XC Season runs 10 weeks from Sept 15 (first practice) to Nov 21 (nationals).
First Practice: Tuesday, Sept 15, 2026
Final Local Meet: Sunday, Nov 8, 2026 (Blazer Invitational - this meet qualifies you for nationals)
Nationals: Saturday, Nov 21, 2026 (CCCNYC Nationals will be run in Cedarville, Ohio... more info on this in an early season newsletter)We will focus and train for XC races, ranging from 2k to 5k (distance varies based on age at certain meets, at other meets we will all run a standard 5k).
2026 FALL MEET SCHEDULE:
Sun Sept 27 @ 9am - Time Trial at Laumeier Sculpture Park in Sunset Hills, MO
Sat Oct 3 @ 7am - St. Peters Dash 5k in Kirkwood, MO
Sat Oct 17 @ 7am - Hancock Invitational 5k at Jefferson Barracks in South County, MO
Sun Oct 25 @ 1pm - CMAC Meet at Gans Creek XC Course in Columbia, MO
Sun Nov 8 @ 9am - Blazer Invitational Meet @ Buder Park Airfield in Fenton, MO
Sat Nov 21 @ 9am - CCCNYC National Championship Meet in Cedarville, Ohio**St. Peter's Dash is a road race - all other races are XC races.
TEAM COSTS:
Season Registration Fee: $125 (covers training costs and park usage costs, paid when you register your child for the season).Additional Costs:
Team T-Shirt/Racing Singlet: $25-30 (shirt selection and payment are collected at the same time you register your athlete for the season, or in the team store... please purchase your jersey/shirt when you sign up!). If you plan to race in events, you will need a team shirt or racing singlet). Other gear (sweat shirts, hoodies, Run! Tees, etc) are optional but fun to have!
Meet Fees: $15-20 per meet (each meet has a specific entry fee that must be paid to enter, we will collect for the week of each meet via a meet entry registration link/email).
PRACTICE SCHEDULE:
Practices are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:45pm to 7pm. Practices will be at Laumeier Sculpture Park for the majority of the season. During the final month of the season we will move practices to Kirkwood Park so that we can practice under the lights.Laumeier Sculpture Park

Race Distances at CMAC, Blazer Invite, and CCCNYC Nationals:
8 years old - 2km race (about 1.25 miles)
9-10 years old - 3km race (about 1.85 miles)
11-12 years old - 3km race (about 1.85 miles)
13-14 years old - 4km race (about 2.48 miles)At the other races (St. Peter's Dash & Hancock Invitational) all will run a 5k.
